Carrs Billington Agriculture supplies the farming and rural communities with a comprehensive range of agricultural products and services.
The company formed following the merger of Carrs Agriculture Ltd, Billington Agriculture Ltd and AF feeds. With the acquisition in July 2005 of the Pye Bibby business, Carrs Billington further expanded its ruminant feed production sites. At the same time a new production partnership with two associate companies was formed to provide animal feeds in Wales and the borders; this stand alone company is Bibby Agriculture.
Ruminant compound feeds are manufactured at Carlisle, Lancaster and Stone, blends and specialist coarse mixes are manufactured at Kirkbride, Lancaster, Owen at Newtown and Thomas at Carmarthen.
Carrs Billington continues to invest in our production sites ensuring unrivalled product quality and delivery service. A team of nutritionists formulate our feeds in line with the latest research and development, constantly updating our range so that there is a brand which will exactly meet your requirements.
The mills and blend plants are all approved under the Agricultural Industries Confederation’s Universal Feed Assurance Scheme. In addition the sites practice a HACCP (Hazard Analysis at Critical Control Points) scheme.
